  While in Homosassa, had the great good fortune to hook up with Captain Brian Stoner of Hog Tide Charters. Having expressed a desire to see manatees, Capt. Brian knew just where to look. After a relaxing trip to a local spring, we were able to enter the water and float up close to several of these graceful, gentle giants. What really impressed us was Capt. Brian's concern for the safety of the manatees and his understanding of the threats to their existence. As former teachers, we found him personable and easy to understand. A great trip! See Capt. Brian when you are in the area.
